Hi! We are the Wacky Wheelers
We are The Wacky Wheelers committee and we love skating. We originally planned a small skate comp to give us something to do but ‘cos we are totally awesome it has turned into X-Fest!
But that’s not all we do! We want to encourage more young people to get out and hit ramps and have fun! And also improve the existing ramps or help other villages or towns get some ramps if they haven’t got any.
If you like what we do and want to get involved or just find out more info, then please get in contact and get blogging!
Check out the site for info about X-Fest and photos from last year in our gallery! If you’ve got some cool photos send them through and we’ll do our best to get them up on our board.
And don’t forget that this year the X-Fest comp is all about recording your best trick, but it doesn’t matter where you are or how old you are, so long as you’re not a pro (sorry Tony Hawk!). So get going and post your entry on our site from the 3rd July!!!
Catch ya later, the Wacky Wheeler’s Team.
X-FEST Event
The successful youth festival X-fest is returning to Shipston! Grab ur diary and scrawl X-Fest 2010 in BIG letters all over the date: 3rd July!!!
With loads to do and our massively popular skate competition, get there from 10am and stay until 4pm!
This year we are moving the skate competition online! Record your best trick on video and post it to our website: www.wackywheelers.org.
Anyone can vote and the best trick will win a fabulous prize! The competition will be open for 1 month, but to help you perfect your awesome moves we will have the mobile skate park set-up on the launch day.
Need time out from the skate action? Get art-funky with our resident graffiti artist, get jumpin’ on the bouncy castle or grab food from the BBQ. Want to check your score? Go into the youth café and re-live your glory on our big screen! And if it’s all getting too much zonk-out in our inflatable chill-out area!
