Hi! We are the Wacky Wheelers

We are The Wacky Wheelers committee and we love skating. We originally planned a small skate comp to give us something to do but ‘cos we are totally awesome it has turned into X-Fest! This is a youth festival that we hope has loads of stuff that will interest you. Here’s a small taster - Skate Comp “Sketchy Sk8Off”, car-racing “Motor Mayhem”, rocket display, dance workshop, bucking bronco, "Warts 'N All" historical fighting, café, ice-cream, BBQ, gorgeous cars etc. You’ll have to come along and see what’s up!

X-FEST Event

Saturday 18 July 2009 @ Shipston High

The day is free, but you’ll have to pay to enter the competitions. St John’s Ambo are covering the event for first aid and we should have some shops if you need to replace trucks and bearings. Also bring a helmet, otherwise we can't let you compete. If you’ve got a racing car (radio-controlled, not the big ones!) then bring it along, or borrow one of ours. Bring some dosh for food and a camera to record your mates’ best bailout – they’ll be a prize for that too!

All profits will go towards improving the Shipston skate park – we want it bigger, better and drier!

Grab ur diary and scrawl X-Fest 2010 in BIG letters all over the date: 17th July! We are planning for next year's youth festival and of course the skate comp is right at the heart of that. If you have any ideas about what you'd like, please conatct us and let us know!
Also we would like to see some changes down at the shipston skate park itself - get the lighting sorted out, switch some of the ramps over and maybe get some new stuff - but we need YOU to do it! Interested? Then let us know.
Have a great half term,
Guy + the team

Hey guys, 3 days to go and things are beginning to come together. Friday is due to be a wash out so hope all the rain is gone for Saturday. Scarily I'm beginning to plan for next year already...maybe I need a holiday!

Latest news - Suburu World Rally Team are bringing a truck to X-Fest, with a race car straight from the track (it's on it's way back from Italy as I speak) and an Aston Martin...how cool is that?

You know you've got to come now!

See you saturday
